Newbuilds deployed on Asia–Latin America routes

New container ship deliveries in the past week were mainly assigned to Far East–Latin America services, which Alphaliner says reflects growing volumes on those trades.

Alphaliner reported that Imabari Shipbuilding completed the 13,932 TEU ONE Symphony. The vessel will be deployed on ONE’s Asia–WCSA AX3 service, operated jointly with MSC and Hapag-Lloyd.

The ship is the 14th in a series of at least 15 vessels being built at various Imabari Group yards. Deliveries in the past week were primarily deployed to Far East–Latin America services, according to Alphaliner.
