The new five-year cargo handling agreement covers eight European countries: Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. WFS will continue to provide general cargo and mail handling, security screening, customs clearance and documentation support. The scope also includes temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipments, live animals, dangerous goods and the e-commerce segment.
Beyond airport handling, the airline’s customers will keep access to WFS’s European road feeder network linking major gateways and regional hubs. WFS also supports American Airlines Cargo’s freight operations at gateways in North America and Asia, contributing to a consistent ground-handling approach.
