DHL Supply Chain and Biogen expand healthcare logistics partnership in Türkiye

DHL Supply Chain Türkiye and Biogen Türkiye have expanded their logistics partnership to include temperature-controlled storage, warehouse management, active distribution and value-added services for healthcare products. Biogen Türkiye's products will be managed at DHL's Istanbul facility, stored at 2–8°C under high security standards. The partnership began last year with storage services.

Under the expanded agreement, storage, warehouse operations, value-added services and distribution are combined in a more integrated service. DHL will use temperature-controlled vehicles equipped with real-time tracking to deliver treatments to healthcare institutions across Türkiye, and it has increased its fleet of active temperature-controlled vehicles.

In April 2025 DHL Group announced plans to invest €2 billion by 2030 to strengthen global healthcare logistics capabilities. DHL Global Forwarding also expanded its Health Logistics Cold Chain Network with six dedicated air cargo corridors: Liège and Brussels are linked with Shanghai and Singapore, while Cincinnati is linked with Singapore, Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon.
