Global AGV launches L20 autonomous forklift with two-ton capacity
Danish company Global AGV has developed the L20, an autonomous forklift model designed to handle loads of up to two tons.
The L20 is a further development of Global AGV's L14 model. Its lifting capacity rises by 600 kg to two tons, while width and height remain the same as the company's other models; the new version has grown by only 12 cm.
The company says the L20 can turn in confined spaces and is intended for production environments and densely packed warehouses. It was developed with customers needing more than the L14's 1,400 kg capacity, including food-processing operations that move heavy bulk bags of flour or butter.
Three L20 units are already in operation at international production facilities, two of them in Iceland, where they transport heavy pallets of fish.
